Paradigm Flow Services, the blockage remediation specialist for the oil and gas sector, will share its expertise in Asia for the first time at the Offshore Asia conference this week.
The company, which has developed technology for the asset integrity of deluge systems and flow assurance through subsea blockage removal, will present two papers at the prestigious conference.
Both Paradigm papers will be presented on Thursday 7 March. The first looks at ‘Biomass - the real and present danger’ which will be followed by an insight into ‘Long distance remote subsea blockage location and remediation’.
Rob Bain, managing director of Paradigm Flow Services said: “Operators in Asia are faced with assets which have gone beyond their design life and integrity management is a big part of their strategies going forward. Our technology can help these companies continue to maximise the opportunities in this growing market.
“With significant new discoveries and exploration activity, such as the 50 wells expected to be drilled by PETRONAS offshore Malaysia over the next five years, there is huge potential in this region. Almost 40% of new discoveries in the last five years are in deepwater, where our subsea technology excels.”
Paradigm is also exhibiting at the event, which attracts 5000 industry professionals from over 50 countries, and can be found at stand J3. Offshore Asia will take place at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from 6-8 March.
